Professional Regulation of SLP
SLP is the trading name of Ellistons LLP (SRA Registration 404595, Company Registration No. OC308533) and its sister practice Bernard Elliston Sandler & Co LLP (SRA Registration 472266, Company Registration No. OC329525). Both are Limited Liability Partnerships authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority established by The Law Society of England and Wales, with identical members. The VAT Registration Number is 843 3495 16.
They are also regulated in accordance with the Solicitors' Act 1974, as amended and supplemented by the Administration of Justice Act 1985, the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 and the Access to Justice Act 1999. The Solicitors' (Disciplinary Proceedings Rules) 1994, the Solicitors (Non-Contentious Business) (Remuneration) Order 1994, the Conditional Fees Regulations 2000, the Conditional Fees Order 2000, the Collective Conditional Fee Agreements Regulations 2000, the European Communities (Lawyer's Practice Regulations) 2000 and the European Communities (Lawyer's Practice) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 are also relevant.
